RED QUEEN BY VICTORIA AVEYARD

"And we will rise up, Red as the dawn."

In a world is divided by two sides—silver blood and red blood. The color blood you have defines you and who you are going to be for the rest of your life. The silvers possess abilities that hold to a higher level of status. If you are a red, you are weak, you are powerless. You are look down upon because you do not consume the strange abilities the Silvers have. That is, till they meet Mare Barrow. Born a red, but yet contains powers that only a silver would have. Though there is a problem to this, Reds are not supposed to have supernatural abilities. When Mare’s powers are put on display for everyone, the royals of that country have to find some way to cover up this strange coincidence. Mare is forced into a life she never dreamed—erasing her past and giving her a future she would have to live in secret.
Now thrown into a life of luxury, Mare try’s to blend into a world she has never known. She attempts to learn their way of life alongside with learning just how far her abilities extend. Mare is forced to make decisions and is forced to play the royals game. Though she has a few secrets of her own and she is willing to go so far as to risk her life for freedom and justice. Meanwhile, she knows she cannot turn her back—for anyone can betray anyone.
         I loved the story.
The complexity of the characters and the fluentness of the story makes this a perfect read for anyone. I was truly captivated by the book and its story and it was so easy to turn each page after page. Soon, I realized, I was at the end and wishing for more. I cannot wait to see what Victoria Aveyard has in store for this amazing series. All I know is that I will be the first person in line at the book store when the second book is released.

I would give this book a 4/5 stars because its that good! If you are looking for something totally original, then this is the book for you.
